- SF-1449 and Statement of Work. The United States Department of Commerce (DOC), National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Pacific Services Center (PSC) Honolulu, HI, intends to issue a solicitation, utilizing the procedures at Federal Acquisitions Regulations Part 13, for the award of the creation of a White paper on traditional Hawaiian fishponds and the presentation of the final report during the Pacific Risk Management `Ohana (PRiMO) Indigenous Knowledge Hui annual meeting in March 2010. The anticipated period of performance for this contract shall be September 1, 2009 to April 15, 2010. This is a 100% small business set aside procurement. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 541690, with a size standard of $7 million. The Government's estimated cost for this requirement is not expected to exceed Simplified Acquisition Threshold. All future information regarding this acquisition, including amendments, will be distributed solely through this website. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. Interested parties are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation and amendments (if any) and monitoring the website to ensure that they have the most up to date information regarding the acquisition. Proposals/Offers shall be submitted in accordance with the guidelines outlined in the solicitation document. All questions resulting from this notice or the subsequent solicitation document must be submitted in writing via email to Brian.Clark@noaa.gov Reference the solicitation number in the subject line of your email. Offers and all required documents maybe submitted electronically, mail carrier, or via fax (843)740-1290, however; the Government shall not be responsible for the malfunction of electronic machinery or mail carrier error. The award will be made on or around August 19, 2009. Contractor must have a valid DUNS number and be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database, with an active status, to be eligible for award.
