- The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center San Diego (FISCSD) Contracting Department plans to use a Firm Fixed Price contract to procure on an other than full and open competition basis from Microwave Instrumentation Technologies, Duluth, GA for the disassembly, cleaning, inspection, replacement and/or repair, lubrication, adjustment and calibration of one Source Tower and two Antenna Positioners. Equipment, instrumentation, and associated software are all proprietary to Microwave Instrumentation Technologies. Contract award is estimated to be 7 August 2009. This sole source procurement will be done in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12.6 using the simplified acquisition procedures in FAR Part 13.5.
