- The Government intends to purchase on a sole source basis 12 months maintenance and support (SimSUPPORT) on two GSS7700 GPS Simulator systems from Spirent Federal Systems Inc., 22345 La Palma Ave Ste 105, Yorba Linda, CA 92887. This requirement is sole sourced as this procurement is for maintenance and support of existing systems. Spirent Federal Systems is the original manufacturer, and no other company can provide the maintenance support The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 3345111 with a size standard of 750 employees. The order shall be a firm fixed priced order. FOB Destination shall apply. Simplified Acquisition Procedures shall be used. This procurement is DO priority rated. The closing date will be 05 August 2009 with an anticipated award by 12 August 2009. THE GOVERNMENT WILL NOT ISSUE A WRITTEN REQUEST FOR QUOTATION as all items are identified in this notice. Quotes should be e-mailed to laurel.campbell@navy.mil or faxed to (540) 653-7088. All quotes should reference N00178-09-Q-1216 and be sent to the attention of Code CXS11-3. The Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division, Dahlgren Laboratory Procurement Division has implemented Electronic Commerce (EC) in the acquisition area; therefore, this synopsis and any applicable amendments will be available on the World Wide Web at http://www.nswc.navy.mil/SUPPLY. DoD will no longer award contracts to contractors not registered in the Central Contractors Registration (CCR) database.
