- RECOVERY--The work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, materials and equipment, and constructing seven (7) riser pipe grade control structures in Issaquena County, Mississippi. Principal features of the work include clearing and grubbing, excavation, fill, backfill, embankment, miscellaneous items, control of water, engineering fabric, stone protection, corrugated metal pipe, erosion control, lime treatment, welding, concrete work, storm water pollution prevention and environmental protection. The AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT OF 2009 (ARRA) is applicable to this solicitation. The estimated value of the proposed work is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. Funds are not currently available for this acquisition. No award will be made until appropriated funds are made available. Plans and Specifications will be available only on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) Web Page at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Bidders may register on the Interested Vendors List (IVL) at http://www.fbo.gov and retrieve an IVL from the same location. Bidders are encouraged to check often for changes (AMENDMENTS) to posted solicitation. Issue date on or about 17 Aug 2009. Bid opening date on or about 17 Sep 2009, 1430 Hours. This procurement is restricted to 8(a) firms located within the geographical area serviced by the SBA-Mississippi District Office, and is issued under NAICS Code 237990.
