- This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Part 12, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures FAR Part 13. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. This combined synopsis/solicitation shall be posted on both FEDBIZOPPS and NECO (https://www.neco.navy.mil/). The Request for Quote (RFQ) number is N00244-09-T-0544. This solicitation documents incorporate provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2005-33, FAC 2005-34 and FAC 2005-35 effective 2009 July 15 and DFARS Change Notice 20090715 and 20090721. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The clauses may be accessed in full text at these addresses: www.acqnet.gov/far. The NAICS code is 336611, business size is 1000 employees. A single award, firm fixed price purchase order is anticipated to be awarded as a result of the RFQ. This requirement is refurbish and repair of four (4), ten foot platforms located at Naval Base San Diego IAW the Statement of Work. (Note: new materials should only be used if needed). The attached copy of the solicitation contains a complete description of the requirements and applicable provisions and clauses. This procurement is competitive, 100% set aside for small business concerns. All responsible businesses capable of meeting the requirements of the solicitation are encouraged to respond.
