- Description
- The project consists of removing and replacing three culverts at three locations, with structures that provide unimpeded aquatic organism passage on the North Thompson Creek. Two of the culverts to be removed are 36 inches in diameter, one of which will be replaced with a 12 foot wide countersunk corrugated arch pipe with concrete footers and the second with a 12 foot by 9 foot elliptical pipe, the third culvert to be removed is 60 inches in diameter and will be replaced with a 15 foot wide multi plate arch pipe with concrete footers. The project is located approximately 22 miles Southwest of Glenwood Springs, Colorado, on National Forest Service Road (NFSR) 300, all three crossings sites are within ¾ of a mile of each other.
