- The Hampton VAMC, Hampton, VA is seeking the services of a qualified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business who has proven experience in hospital building renovation and construction to complete the project for the Renovation and Expansion of the Spinal Cord Injury Facility at the Hampton VAMC, Hampton, VA. The work includes, but is not limited to providing all labor, materials, transportation, equipment and supervision for this project. The work encompasses general construction, walkway repairs/construction, grading, drainage, mechanical and electrical work, utility systems, and other related areas. The NACIS code for this procurement is 236220 with a small business size standard of $33,500,000.00. This is an IFB Firm-fixed price sealed bid project and will be awarded in accordance with FAR Part 14. All work shall be completed within 365 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed letter. This includes final inspection and clean-up. The estimated dollar amount of this procurement is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. The specifications and drawings will be uploaded on FedBizOpps on/about August 11, 2009. The time and date for receipt of bids will be 10:00am on/about September 10, 2009. A pre-proposal/walk-through will be held on/about August 25, 2009 at 10:00am Bldg 27, Conference Room. These times and dates are estimates. The actual times and dates will be stated in the solicitation. The deadline for receipt of questions will be on/about August 27, 2009.
