Description
The Night Vision and Electronic Sensors Directorate (NVESD) will conduct a briefing to industry in support of the anticipated Warrior Enabling Broad Sensor (WEBS) Services Multiple Award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. The Industry Day will occur on Friday August 21th 2009 from 0800 EST to 1300 EST at the Officers Club, Building 20 5500 Schulz Circle, Fort Belvoir, Virginia 22060. This announcement is issued solely for information and program planning purposes. The Industry Day does not constitute a formal solicitation for proposals. Attendance at the Industry Day is voluntary and is not required in order to submit a proposal for the WEBS. NVESD will not provide reimbursement for any costs incurred to participate in the Industry Day. All information and discussions that take place at the Industry Day will be done at the unclassified level. The goals of this meeting are: 1) to familiarize participants with NVESDs requirements and mission; 2) answer questions from potential offerors related to NVESD mission and requirements. The Government will provide a brief overview for all attendees about the overall NVESD mission. The Government will also brief attendees on each of the 7 Divisions at NVESD and their specific requirements. A solicitation page will be opened on the Interactive Business Opportunities Page (IBOP) at https://abop.monmouth.army.mil to reiterate the above and provide directions to the Fort Belvoir and the Officers Club.
