- This Sources Sought/Market Survey is seeking interested businesses for competitive consideration. The Directorate of Contracting (DOC) Office is conducting a market survey to determine the sizes and types of businesses available for a firm fixed-price contract for maintenance services on Acoustic Technology Inc. Early Warning System. The performance period will be for six (6) months after award date. The place of performance is Fort Stewart, GA. The contract will be to provide inclusive hardware and software preventive and remedial support equipment. Contractor shall be responsible for the service and repair of all equipment and hardware associated with the functionality of the EWS. The Acoustic Technology Inc. Emergency Warning System. The current system consists of: Communication Control Unit (CCU); High Power Speaker Systems (HPSS) up to 3200 watts, includes speakers, speaker components, brackets and cables, stainless steel cabinets and batteries Solar Panels Wood, concrete and metal poles housing the EWS. The contractor shall possess and be trained on how to use ATI software in the performance of their duties to include, loading software programming to system components. Contractor will be required to provide response to reported system failures within 2 hours on weekdays and 4 hours on weekends and holidays to troubleshoot errors/failures reported by the Installation Operations Center (IOC). System failures occurring between the hours of 6:00 pm and 7:00 am will be repaired the following day. Contractor shall be responsible to make coordination with Acoustic Technology Inc. (ATI) for delivery of required repair parts, install the parts and return defective parts to ATI (if required). The contractor shall ensure system errors/failure is repaired and system is totally operational within 24 hours of reported error/failure to the Contract Officer Representative (COR). Travel expenses are not authorized for repairs from contractors base of operations to either Fort Stewart or Hunter Army Airfield. This synopsis is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. This synopsis is not a solicitation announcement for proposal. No formal solicitation document exists at this time, and no contract will be awarded from this announcement. The purpose of this notice is to obtain information regarding: (1) the availability and capability of qualified small business sources; (2) whether they are Small Businesses; HUBZone Small Businesses; Service-Disabled, Veteran-Owned Small Businesses; 8(a) Small Businesses; Veteran-Owned Small Businesses; Woman-Owned Small Businesses; or Small Disadvantaged Businesses; and (3) their size classification relative to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 811213, Size Standard $6.5 M for the proposed acquisition.
