- The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to enter sole-source negotiations with Trimcast Pty. Ltd. for the procurement of KC-130J propeller covers. General Information: Trimcast is the sole designer and manufacturer for KC-130J-specific propeller covers that have undergone government testing to validate resistance to the type of damage anticipated to affect these propellers in shipment. FAR 5.203 (b) is the authority for the shortened synopsis response time. (Urgency.) Additional Information: the applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 326199. There is no commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation, make awards, or be responsible for any monies expended by any interested parties in support of the effort.
