- RECOVERY: This project will be funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) and is subject to the reporting requirements of the act. The Department of the Interior, National Park Service (NPS) intends to issue a Request for Quotes (RFQ) Q4340090020, Replicate Fifty-one (51) Exterior Shutters for four buildings at Fort McHenry National Monument, Baltimore, MD. The Contractor shall provide shutters and hardware only. The shutters will be rehung by government labor. This procurement is being issued as a small business set aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 321911 and the Standard is 500 employees. The intended contract will be Firm-Fixed Price. Award will be made to the responsible contractor providing the lowest price. Contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration system in order to receive contract awards. Vendors must register themselves through the on-line CCR system at www.ccr.gov. Be advised, failure to register in the CCR database makes a bidder ineligible for a contract award with the National Park Service. The solicitation will be posted to the websites, http://www.fedbizopps.gov and http://ideasec.nbc.gov on or about 05 August 2009. Downloading from the Internet is free of charge. It is the contractor's responsibility to check the internet site daily for any posted changes to the solicitations plans and specifications. The estimated date for the receipt of quotes is 2:00 p.m. on 25 August 2009.
