- Recovery Act Project 619-09-100, Solicitation VA-247-09-RA-0272, Renovate Inpatient Area to Residential Environment at the Tuskegee Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Tuskegee, AL. Provide all labor and material needed to Renovate Inpatient Area to Residential Environment in accordance with drawings and specifications. This project will continue the renovation work to convert all resident rooms to private or semi-private rooms with individual bathroom for PRRTP and Homeless Dom Programs in B-120, 3rd Floor. The project will also convert congregate baths into dayrooms and office space.The estimated construction cost is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. Consideration is limited to Service- Disabled Veteran-Owned Businesses who are within a 100 mile radius of the Tuskegee Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Tuskegee, AL. The solicitation will be issued as a Sealed Bid. The proposals will be received at the Department of Veterans Affairs, Ralph H. Johnson Medical Center, 109 Bee Street, Charleston, SC 29401-5799. The NAICS code for this requirement is 238990 and the Small Business Size Standard is $14M. This notice is issued subject to the availability of funds and is not a request for proposal. The solicitation will be issued on the Federal Business Opportunities Website on or about October 5, 2009 with proposals due on November 5, 2009. The pre-bid conference will be held on October 20, 2009 at 2:30 PM Central Time.
