- Description
- The Bureau of Reclamation intends to issue a Request for Quotations (RFQ) for a firm fixed-price construction contract for Penstock Repair at Lower Molina Power Plant near Molina, Colorado. Solicitation No. 09SQ400150 will be issued on or about July 29, 2009, and will be available for downloading directly from the following website: http://www.fedbizopps.gov. The date for receipt of quotes is August 12, 2009. This solicitation will be processed using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. It is anticipated that the contract will be awarded on or about August 17, 2009. The solicitation and resulting contract are being issued in accordance with the Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program. The NAICS Code is: 238990; the small business size standard is $14 million. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by this agency. Successful offeror must provide payment protection before work may begin. Payment protection may be in the form of a payment bond; certificate of deposit; or irrevocable letter of credit. Escrow agreements will not be accepted. Prospective contractors MUST be actively registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database at http://www.ccr.gov to be eligible for award.
