- This solicitation has been Set-Aside for Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VAMC) is soliciting bids under Solicitation Number VA-256-09-RP-0336 for the following: This is a Design-Build solicitation and the contractor will provide all necessary architectural, structural, civil, mechanical, and plumbing, electrical engineering/design of a new 12,000 sq. ft. site. This new building will be occupied by Radiology Oncology Program, an addition to the existing east entrance to the main VA Medical Center, 921 NE 13th Street, Oklahoma, OK. Applicable NAICS Code is 236220 Hospital Construction with a small business size standard of $13 million. The magnitude of this project is between $1 million and $5 million. A Bid Guarantee is required in an amount not less than 20 percent of the bid price but shall not exceed $3 million and must be submitted with the bid offer. Failure to furnish the required bid guarantee in the proper form and amount by the time of submission will require rejection of the bid in all cases except those listed in FAR 28.101-4, and may be cause for rejection even then. All Bonds for Federal Contractors must be registered on U.S. Treasury's website or they will be rejected. The website is: http:/www.fms.treas.gov/c570/c570.html#certified.
