Description
RECOVERY - Lower Colorado River Multi Species Conservation Implementation, Class III Cultural Resource Survey, Laguna Habitat Restoration, Project # LC18786466 THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER BLANKET PURCHASE AGREEMENTS 08PB301061, 08PB301062, 08PB301063, 08PB301064, AND 08PB301071. This project we will be partially or wholly funded from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA). Project Description: The Bureau of Reclamation has a requirement for a Class III Cultural Resource Survey of 1,966 acre for the Laguna Restoration Project, south of Imperial Dam. The project area is in Imperial County, California and Yuma County, Arizona. Contractor shall contact site file repositories and gather baseline data before the pedestrian survey is started. This includes examining records at Arizona State Museum, University of Arizona, Tucson, AZ; Eastern Information Center, Riverside, CA; on-line search of the National Register of Historic Places for appropriate portions of Arizona and California; and the Bureau of Reclamation, Boulder City, NV. Contractor shall follow the general and specific guidance provided by Arizona and California. Survey intervals will be 15 meters. The survey should also identify if there is any potential for buried deposits in the project area based on literature review and field observation. Contractor will provide draft reports for review by Reclamation and address all of the review comments and make revisions, as necessary to submit a final report Type of Procurement: A negotiated firm-fixed price order will be awarded based upon the best value offered the Government. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 541620, Environmental Consulting Services, and the Small Business Size Standard is $7.0 million. This solicitation will be issued electronically, to the BPA holders listed above. Proposed Issue Date: August 3, 2009. Anticipated award is September 29, 2009. The performance will be 7 months.
