- A Request for Quotation (RFQ) has been issued for purchase and delivery of fence materials, commercial items, prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The RFQ and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-35, effective July 14, 2009. The North American Standard Industrial Classifications System Code is 331111 and the size standard is 1,000 employees. This announcement refers interested parties to the RFQ No. Q845009M348. The RFQ will be available via electronic commerce only and can be accessed at either http://www.fbo.gov or directly through the DOI National Business Center site at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. The due date for receipt of quotations is Wednesday, August 12, 2009 by 5:00pm Pacfic Time.This acquisition is unrestricted and is being pursued under full and open competition procedures. The NPS welcomes the participation of small, minority, women, and disabled veteran owned business enterprises capable of providing the materials required. National Park Service, Pinnacles National Monument, located in California, has a requirement for the purchase and delivery of fence materials, as indicated specifically in the RFQ. The RFQ is available for download at http://www.fbo.gov or directly from the Department of Interior site at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. Contractors are responsible for periodically checking the site for any Amendments that may be issued prior to the closing date. This project is being funded through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA), and the contractor must meet all reporting requirements as described in FAR 52.204-11.
