Description
Conference Support The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) intends to procure the following services. This RFQ is a small business set-aside for companies within the 35-mile Atlanta, Georgia Metropolitian Trade Area. The Governement anticipates awarding a contract to the offeror whose proposal is the most advantageous to the Government (lowest price). Offerors' price proposal will be evaluated to determine price reasonablness. Prices that are excessively high or low may be considered unrealistic and unreasonable, and may receive no further consideration. CDC reserves the right to award the contract to a offeror who may not be the lowest price technically acceptable price proposal if it is determined by the Contracting Officer to be non-responsive. Based on the budget plan, and in accordance with the terms and conditions of this RFQ the contract will be awarded to that offeror whose price, is in conformance to the RFQ, offers the lowest price to the Government. Specific tasks to be performed are as follows: See Attached Statement of Work. The following instructions establish the acceptable minimum requirements for the format of proposals. The offeror's price proposal is required to describe how they plan to manage the requirement. Information on how the proposed conference is to be organized, staffed, and managed. This information shall demonstrate an understanding of important events or tasks and their management including a list of personnel assigned to work directly on the conference, and a brief description of their relevant experience and qualification. The contractor shall also comment on the number of hours the contractor estimates each person listed will work on the project. The prices will be evaluated according to soundness, practicality, reasonablness and feasibility of the applicant's staffing and management labor hours for this contract.The following line items, which indicate the stage of the conference, may apply to the contract: Conference Implementation. Each of these items is broken down into the following components: Labor, ODCs/Materials and Sponsored Travelers. Award may be made without discussions/negotiations. Quoters are advised to submit their quotes in the best favorable terms to the government. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The best way to complete this certification is to download the FAR Clauses (Volume II) at http://www.arnet.gov/far, print out the clause 52.212-3, Offeror Representation and Certification, and fill in the appropriate blanks. Proposals are due on or before 12:00pm EST, on July 31, 2009. The proposal must be signed by an official authorized to bind your organization.
