Description
Sources Sought Description. Item is Exact Item (Or Equal) ***SOURCES SOUGHT ONLY*** 0001: DOOR: Forcible Entry Training Door with replacement wood jambs, Forcible Entry Door Prop MFR: Red Barn Innovations. P/N: Forcible Entry Training Door w/ Replaceable Wood Jambs (1 EA) (OR EQUAL) - Force entry door prop must be fabricated out of mild steel, spring steel and stainless steel. - The frame must be square tubing and C channel to the same dimensions as a regular door frame; fabricated from 1" mild steel welded to a heavy frame for a base. A 1" backing plate made of AR-4 tempered steel must be welded to the back of the door to allow the prop to hold up to striking the door. The facing and edge of the door, where all of the forcing is done, must be wrapped with 1" steel for durability. - The friction device on the prop must consist of two solid steel jaws; the upper jaw is forced onto the deadbolt that protrudes from the edge of each door. This device allows the door to be forced 3+ inches before letting the door open. - The door needs to be set at a maximum 3000lbs forcing pressure, but needs to be capable of adjustable pressure at the discretion of the instructors. The trainer design must allow user to set rescue tools to proper depth. - Dimensions - 85" high, 54" wide, depth 30" and 800 to 1000 lbs weight. It must contain two doors allowing for practicing techniques for both right and left door jambs. It will be able to train for inward and outward swinging doors and simulate wood and metal doors with replicable wood door jambs. ***SOURCES SOUGHT ONLY*** NOTE: If items are "or equal" please send accompanying pictures.
