- ***NOTICE*** Project, 010018 that was originally posted as FA8601-09-B-0015 as an Invitation For Bid (IFB) is now being posted as a Request For Proposal (RFP) under FA8601-09-R-0047. ***End Notice*** SYNOPSIS: Project ZHTV010018. This RESTRICTED ACQUISITION is set aside for HUBzone concerns. The Period of Performance is 210 days. NAICS CODE: 238210. Size Standard $14M. Replace aged cable serving Brick Quarters and WPAFB Club Replace Ducts/Feeders from Chapel 1 to Bldg 700. The site of the work is Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. Special Requirement/Considerations: Government personnel will occupy facilities during construction. Work will need to be coordinated with the Exterior Electric Shop to allow them to switch electrical loads to accommodate the work with minimal customer electrical outages. Work will need to be phased and power outages scheduled to minimize disruption. Work will require electrical contractor experienced with work on 12kV underground systems. Estimated Cost of Proposed Acquisition is between $250,000 and $500,000. In accordance with FAR 4.1102 and DFARS 252.204-704 "Required Central Contractor Registration," Contractor must be registered in CCR prior to award. You shall provide a signed copy of the SF 1442 by the bid closing date, which is set for 4:00 p.m. (local Dayton time) on 17 July 2009. Sealed envelopes containing bids shall be marked to show the bidder's name and address, the solicitation number, and the date and time proposals are due. 6. Contractors that are Debarred, Suspended, or Proposed for Debarment are excluded from receiving contracts. Agencies also shall not consent to subcontract with these contractors. This is a WPAFB Construction Contracting (PKJ) program. The current status is Pre-Solicitation and it is a Category Z - Maintenance, repair, and alteration of real property program.
