- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Purchase Request Number: W81K00-09-T-00314 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This purchase request document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-33. This acquisition is being conducted as a commercial item acquisition in accordance with FAR Part 12. This requirement is 100% Small Business set-aside and all responsible sources may submit a quotation, which will be considered under NAICS code 611430 and the small business size standard is $6.5M. The requirements in this solicitation are: CLIN 0001 non-personal services to provide compassion fatigue and burnout and its impact to health care providers training on the dates of the 28th and 29th of July 2009 for the AMEDD Center and School PRT Trainers IAW Work Statement attached Work Statement 1. The services required to meet the agencys needs are to use the subject matter expertise to provide training to PRT trainers in the area of compassion fatigue and burnout and its impact to health care providers. The tasks of the training are as follows: Tasks: "Identify key factors that contribute to compassion fatigue. "Present research information in the field of traumatology. "Discuss various self-assessment tools that are available to providers to enhance self-awareness. oTrauma based assessments oSelf-care assessments oResiliency assessments "Provide a model of employee wellness focus known as The Prosperity Plan that was developed through the Figley Institute. "Explain the Green Cross Academy of Traumatology philosophy that focuses on trauma caregivers self-care. For AMEDD Center and School, Ft Sam Houston, TX 78234.
