Description: The FISC Norfolk Contracting, Groton Office request responses from qualified sources capable of providing: The Deterrent of Canada Geese Services at the Naval Station Newport, RI in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS) which will be included in the Request for Quote (RFQ). This is a SYPNOSIS for commercial services prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, and using Simplified Acquisition Procedures for commercial items found in FAR Part 13.5 as supplemented with the addition information included in this notice. This synopsis shall be posted on NECO (htpps://www.neco.navy.mil/). The RFQ number is N00189-09-T-G101. The NAICS code is 561710- Exterminating and Pest Control Services, the Small Business Size Standard is of $7 millions of dollars of revenue per year. This is an unrestricted competitive action. The Government intents to award a single purchase order for the Deterrent of Canada Geese Services at the Naval Station Newport, RI. This Contract will be for a base year to start on 01 Oct 2009 with four (4) one year options. Questions regarding technical or contractual issues must be address to the Contract Specialist via e-mail or fax ONLY. This RFQ document incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAR and DFARS. It is the contractor's responsibility to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions.
