- PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The project consists of the installation of a 30 ft. 3 in. Span x 6 ft. 9 in. Rise x 24 ft. 9 in. long aluminum structural plate open bottom box culvert, headwalls, wingwalls and all appurtenances. The culvert will be installed upstream of the current ford. The project includes reconstructing approximately 2.6 stations (260 feet) of roadway. The work consists of clearing and grubbing, excavation, roadway reconditioning, and temporary traffic control measures. PROJECT LOCATION: The Sarah's Creek Culvert Installation project is located on the FSR 156 at mile post 2.1 from the intersection with Warwoman Road approximately 9.4 miles east of Clayton, Rabun County, Georgia. ESTIMATE COST RANGE: between $100,000 and $250,000. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) firms. SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS, SPECIFICATIONS, AND DRAWINGS: The solicitation, AG-435H-S-09-0022 will be issued via FedBizOpps, as an Invitation for Bid and will be available for downloading on or about August 4, 2009 at the website address: http://www.fedbizopps.gov/ All vendors are required to be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) prior to award of a contract, http://www.ccr.gov/
