- A Market Survey is being conducted to determine if there are interested and qualified Small Business, HUBZone small business, 8(a) small business, or Service Disabled Veteran Owned small business contractors for the following proposed project: Project location Jefferson County, Louisville, KY. Short Project Description: 5 year contract for layout/design, provision, and installation of systems furniture for the Louisville District office. This is a Service project. The estimated Advertisement date is 01 October 2009. The estimated Award date is 01 December 2009. Contract duration is estimated to be 5 years and with an estimated cost range is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000 the current target ceiling for this contract is closer to $1,000,000. NAICS is 337214. Size limitation is 500 employees. All interested Small Business, HUBZone small business, 8(a) small business, or Service Disabled Veteran Owned small business contractors should notify this office in writing by mail on or before 05 August 2009 at 2:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. Responses should include: (1) Identification as a Small Business or verification of the company by the Small Business Administration, as either a certified HUBZone, certified 8(a), or Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business,, (2) The level of performance and payment bonding capacity that the company could attain for the proposed project, (3) Past Experience as a prime contractor. Criteria: Provide descriptions of your firms past experience on projects designing, procuring, and installing systems-type office furniture in the last 3 years which are similar to this project in size, scope, and dollar value. Projects considered similar in scope to this project include: Corporate-office type installations of cubicles, private office furniture, conference room furniture, storage rooms, and training facilities, including renovation planning/design and furniture layout. Projects similar in size will include: 1000 to 20,000 ft2. Projects of similar dollar value will include: $50,000 to $2M.
