Description
RECOVERY--THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO THE CONTRACTOR UNDER THE EXISTING FORT DRUM REPAIR, REHABILITATION AND CONSTRUCTION (RRC) Contract Number W911S2-06-D-0006, Contractor: Alutiiq Global Solutions, LLC, 3033 South Parker Road, Suite 1111, Aurora, CO 80014. The Directorate of Contracting will obtain services to provide all supervision, plant, labor and equipment necessary to perform all work in connection with the renovation of Barracks Bldg. P-10222, Fort Drum, NY. Work shall include, but is not limited to,demolishing existing bathroom walls and constructing new walls and doorways to increase the size of the bathroom, each containing one new shower, toilet and sink. The new suites will each contain a small kitchenette to include cabinets and countertop, microwave and refrigerator. A new closet with shelves will be constructed in each suite. Flooring in the suites shall be replaced with new vinyl composition tile and waxed. All rooms shall be painted, to include radiant floor baseboard heater covers. All existing suspended ceiling tiles shall be removed and replaced with new tile. All broken windows and room entry doors will be replaced with new windows and doors to match existing. Those doors not damaged shall receive a fresh coat of paint to match existing. All doors shall be prepared for the installation of a keyless entry system. Keyless entry systems will be installed on all resident room doors, laundries, day rooms and TV rooms. The system shall be the same as those currently being installed in other barracks buildings. All common areas, to include the laundry room, will receive new paint and floor tile to match existing. All rigid dryer hose shall be removed and replaced with new. A new CQ (Charge of Quarters) desk will be constructed to replace the existing desk to be demolished. New lighting and electrical hardware will be installed, per code, to support the facility. Emergency lighting shall also be provided per current fire and safety codes. Damaged or inoperable A/C wall units shall be removed and replaced with 120 VAC 8000 BTU High Efficiency units. All existing baseboard heat thermostats shall be removed and replaced in kind. Paint system shall consist of 1 coat latex primer, followed by 2 coats of latex eggshell or semi-gloss paint. Color shall match what was originally used in the facility. The magnitude of this project is estimated to be between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The project will be funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. This is not a request for quotation or a solicitation for offers.
