Description
This Request for Information (RFI) is for planning purposes only and should not be construed as a solicitation for applications or an obligation on the part of the government. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes - it does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future. The government will not pay for the preparation of any information submitted or for the use of that information. The Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) is a complex integrated software solution that provides a single business system in the area of financial and program management functionality. The business solution will be deployed to the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) on FY 2010. To ensure an effective transition to Navy ERP will require conducting instructor-lead computer based training to a total of 2,398 (est.) users over a projected sixteen week span starting 2 August 2011 - 1 December 2011. To set the stage for workforce training will require conducting a four-week train-the-trainer event commencing on 1-30 June 2010. The ERP Program Office is seeking information from industry regarding the following infrastructure to assist in setting up NAVSEA ERP School House. The school house must have: A total of 20 Classrooms to accommodate 21 computer workstations (each classroom must be at least 500 Square foot at a minimum). Initially, there must be a total of 10 classrooms starting 4 May 2010 and additional 10 classrooms to be stood up on 1 July through 1 December 2011. Each classroom must be equipped with the following: Internet access to allow for connectivity to 21 computers, 21 computer desks, LCD projector, White Board. There must be a Conference Room to accommodate 20-25 individuals with a conference table and 30 chairs. The NAVSEA ERP School House Metro Facility should be located outside the Washington Navy Yard or within 5 mile radius of the Navy Yard accessible by a short walk from the Yard and/or a quick metro ride (1-2 stops) to the training facility. Prospective vendors that have the infrastructure at the timeframe identified and meet the location requirements should send in their capability statement.
