Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information including in this notice. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; PROPOSALS ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Solicitation number N62470-09-R-4003 is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). It consists of one base year and four (4) option periods. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through 2005-33. This procurement is being solicited as a small business set-aside 100%. The Federal Supply code (FSC) is R699 and the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 561439. The small business size standard is annual average receipts of $7,000,000. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Atlantic, 6506 Hampton Blvd, Norfolk VA 23508-1278 requires the following items: Background The Medical Facility Design office has been storing a large volume of documents for the past 10 years. Lack of storage space requires that stored documents be scanned and placed on CDs as PDF files. Principal Place of Performance The Contractor will be required to pick up these documents from the Governments Medical Facilities Design office, located at the Naval Facilities Engineering Command, 1322 Patterson Avenue, S.D., Suite 1000, Washington, D.C. 20374. Documents will be picked up at various dates/times, to be predetermined. There is not a confined geographic location associated with completion of this contract. Other areas within the cognizance of NAVFAC HQ may be added if deemed to be within the scope of the contract. Requirements The Contractor will be required to provide support as follows. Task 1. Pick up documents from location(s) indicated above in principal place of performance paragraph within (3) working days of notification that documents are ready for scanning Task 2. Scan documents as requested. File onto CDs and label as detailed in the task order. Completion time for the scanning and creation of CD's will be mutually agreed to up front. Task 3. Deliver completed CDs and original documents back to theoriginating office. Labels shall be prepared to match each individual project, or as otherwise specified. ** Quantities varied. Department of Labor Wage Determination No. 2005-2103, Revision No. 7, Dated March 16, 2009, is attached hereto and hereby made a part hereof. In order to comply with the Debt Collection Improvement Act of 1996, ALL CONTRACTORS must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) to be considered for a Federal Contract. For information regarding registration in CCR, contact the CCR website at www.ccr.gov. Additionally, each offer must obtain, and provide with quote, their nine-digit Dun and Bradstreet (DUNs) number. CCR Registration must contain the applicable NAICS code 561439. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. Offers must be submitted in writing to Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Atlantic, 6506 Hampton Blvd, Norfolk VA 23508-1278 by 2:00 p.m. on August 7, 2009.
