Description
DESCRIPTION: The U.S. Coast Guard intends to procure 25 Units of 1.1-4x20 Short Dot Locking CQB M118LR. This proposed procurement is for supplies for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate on a sole source basis to SCHMIDT AND BENDER Inc. at 438 Brook Rd. in MERIDEN, NH 03770. SCOPE: 1. 1.1-4x20 Short Dot Locking CQB M118LR 2. Shipping Cost per Unit x 25 each Note 22. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. HOW TO RESPOND: In order to compete for this project, interested parties must be registered in the Central Contracting Registration and submit a Cost Proposal by 12:00 pm, ET, July 29,2009. Offerors must submit a one copy of the quote to MOHAMED FILALI, USCG Headquarters Support Command, Code A-3, Room B411, 2100 Second St. SW, Washington, DC 20593 by mail, fax or email. Electronic transmissions to Mohamed.Filali@uscg.mil are acceptable, but must be timely. It is the responsibility of the Offeror to ensure the proposal is received by the date and time shown above. Evaluation Criteria: Award based on lowest cost technically acceptable.
