- Description
- This acquisition is for a Firm Fixed Price contract for a Pneumatic Tire Bead Breaker. NSN: 4910-01-245-2865RN; IAW CID A-A-59706. The pneumatic tire bead breaker rated at 30 tons. It is hydraulic in operation and is powered by an explosion proof electric motor. It is intended to be used to break the beads of divided aircraft wheels with tires ranging in size from 15-72 inches in diameter, 4-25 inches wide and a rim size of 12-34 inches. Basic Contract Qty: 9 EA and 2 Options with a quantity of 1-3 EA. Options may be exercised for USAF and/or FMS (Foreign Military Sales) requirements. D elivery: 180 days ARO; Assets will be shipped FOB Origin Approximate issue date of the RFQ will be on or around 15 August 2009. The Government will evaluate past performance utilizing the Past Performance Information Retrieval System (PPIRS), and other sources of data as will be stated in RFQ. Proposals will be evaluated and award made in accordance with the evaluation criteria stated in the RFQ. OFFERORS ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO REVIEW RATINGS IN PPIRS FOR ACCURACY AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. The RFQ will be posted to the Federal Business Opportunities webpage ( http://www.fbo.gov/ ). NO HARD COPIES WILL BE PROVIDED. The Commercial Item Description required to respond to the RFQ may be obtained at the Federal Business Opportunities webpage ( http://www.fbo.gov/ ).
