Description
Q7600090085 - The work of this contract consists of repointing existing masonry walls, wall cap and selective stone removal and relaying on the West Wall of the Mission San Jose walled compound, part of San Antonio Missions National Historical Park in San Antonio, Texas. This solicitation will be available at http://ideasec.nbc.gov on or about 8/5/2009. Paper copies of this solicitation will not be issued and telephone requests or fax requests for this solicitation will not be accepted. The National Park Service anticipates entering into a firm-fixed price contract with a performance period of 60 calendar days following Notice to Proceed. This acquisition is subject to P.L. 100-656, Small Business Competive Demonstration Program, and as such is open to all concerns regardless of size. The NAICS code for this project is 238140 with a small business size standard of $13 million. In accordance with FAR Section 36.204, the estimated range for this project is $25,000-$100,000. Contractors are urged to visit the site for a complete understanding of existing work conditions. Award shall be made to the responsive and responsible offeror whose offer will be most advantageous to the Government. To be considered responsive, offerors must demonstrate work experience working with sensitive historic fabric of Spanish Colonial origins with at least one named job location and reference. The contractor must also submit documentation that they have at least five (5) years experience working with repointing, repair and stablization of historic structures.
