- Description
- The United States Coast Guard, Maintenance and Logistic Command, Pacific, Alameda, CA, proposes to contract the topside repairs of USCGC EDISTO (WPB 1313), a 110’ Patrol Boat, home moorage in San Diego, CA. All work shall be at the cutter’s home moorage during the period of 12 January 2010 to 12 February 2010. Work items include but are not limited to: Tank & Piping Cleaning and Inspection, Overhaul of Fuel Oil Manifold Valves and Oil Water Separator, Renewal of Pilothouse Window; Temporary Services, Dockside. On or about 5 August 2009, a Request for Proposal (RFP) will be issued electronically on FedBizOpps (FBO) at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. This will be a Total Small Business Set-Aside procurement. Only 100% certified small business contractors may submit a proposal. The NAICS code assigned to this procurement will be 336611 with a size standard of less than 1,000 employees. Only one award will be made to the responsive, responsible offeror under this solicitation: HSCG85-10-R-625005. The specifications, solicitation, and other pertinent information will be posted at www.fbo.gov. Offerors are encouraged to register immediately as authorization to access the documents may take up to 48 hours from the time of registration.
