- SERVICES Transportation Service Combined Synopsis/Solicitation Number: W90AF2-09-Q-0503 Location: L'viv, Ukraine Period of Performance: 24AUG09 thru 22SEP09 (projected) Transportation Services-To provide transportation services in Ukraine at the International Peacekeeping and Security Center (IPSC), Yavoriv Training Area, Lviv, and surrounding areas. Drivers work day shall be based on a twelve (12) hour work day. Price shall include Full Coverage Insurance and all deductibles shall be the responsibility of the vendor. All petroleum, lubricants and required services are the vendors responsiblity. The number of vehicles are only estimates and are subject to change. Refer to Combined Synopsis Solicitation Attached for specifics. SOW is also able to be viewed on this document. Vendor Shall attach a memorandum from the Ukrainian MOD with their price quote. The memorandum shall state the vetting is complete and that the vendor has authorized access to Yavoriv Training Area for their personnel. Without this memorandum the vendor will be excluded from the competition All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the contracting agency. Closing date: 01 AUG 09 1200 (L'viv, Ukraine local time) Quotes shall be sent to igor.paustovski@us.army.mil Anticipated Award Date: 10 AUG 09 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation is being issued as a request for quote (RFQ). This solicitation incorporates clauses and provisions in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 01-22. The resulting contract will be a Firm Fixed Price type Contract under FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The basis on which the award will be made is price alone, as per FAR Subpart 13.106(a) 2.
