- Description
- The Wilmington VA Medical Center, 1601 Kirkwood Highway, Wilmington, DE 19805 intends to issue a construction contract. The project involves completely preparing the site for building operations, including selected demolition and removal of existing carpeting, furnish labor and materials and perform work for SPD HVAC RE-DESIGN as required by drawings and specifications. The contractor will furnish all materials, equipment, supervision, and personnel necessary to accomplish the project as indicated on the drawings and in the specifications. The project will involve but not be limited to trades required for the modifications to the SPD HVAC systems including, but not limited to, modification and rebalancing of HVAC systems, installation of ductwork, diffusers, a humidifier and exhaust fan systems and associated electrical connections. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238220. The U.S. Small Business Administration size standard is $14,000,000.00. The SOLICITATION issue date will be approximately Aug 7, 2009 with an approximate response date of September 8, 2009. The solicitation is a Request for Proposal and will be issued as a 100% Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business set-aside. The project magnitude is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. The solicitation will result in a Firm-Fixed Priced Contract. Estimated contract performance is 180 days from notice to proceed. Firms must be registered with the Central Contractors Registry http://www.ccr.gov/, and the Veterans Business Registry http://www.vip.vetbiz.gov/ All perspective offerors interested in submitting a proposal on this solicitation must have a commercial and government entity code (CAGE Code). The entire solicitation, including the specifications, will be made available only on the Electronic Posting System (EPS) web site https://www.fbo.gov/index?cck=1&au=&ck= Paper copies will not be available. Contract drawings will be available when the soliciation is posted approximately Aug 7, 2009.
