Description
Please comply with all specifications. NOTICE: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, in conjunction with FAR 13.5, as applicable, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; bids are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is PC-09-Q-PS1 and is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-34. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 336991 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. This requirement is total Small Business set-aside. The solicitation on www.fbo.gov is posted and will end on 08-04-2009 23:59:59.9 Eastern Time. FOB Destination shall be to the US Embassy in Conakry, Guinea, Africa. CCR Requirement - Company must be registered on Central Contractor Registration (CCR) before an award could be made to them. If company is not registered in CCR, they may do so by going to CCR web site at http://www.ccr.gov. Vendors MUST EMAIL pseong@peacecorps.gov (before or by the exact Time/Date of the completion of this solicitation) the following: 1)TO HAVE A BID CONSIDERED FOR AWARD ALL VENDORS MUST PROVIDE MANUFACTURERS PART# AND EXTENDED SPECIFICATION OF THE EXACT MODEL BEING PROPOSED FOR ALL LIKE ITEMS. NO EXCEPTIONS. FAILURE TO PROVIDE THIS INFORMATION WILL RESULT IN A "NON-RESPONSIVE" BID AND REMOVAL FROM AWARD CONSIDERATION. 2) WARRANTY INFORMATION AS STATED ON THE STATEMENT MUST BE PART OF THE PROPOSAL. 3) VENDOR MUST BE ABLE TO SHIP TO US EMBASSY IN CONAKRY, GUINEA, AFRICA AND INCLUDE PRICE FOR SHIPPING. This order shall be awarded to the responsible offer of with the lowest price, technically acceptable bid. Past Performance may be considered in evaluating the offer’s technical capability to perform this project. Therefore, the Government reserves the right to award to other than the lower price; technically acceptable offer based on the results of the past performance evaluation. The following clauses apply to this solicitation and the resultant contract. The selected Offeror must submit a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certification-Commercial Items. FAR clause 52-212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial, is hereby incorporated by reference.
