- NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE Notice of intent to award a sole source contract to: CLS America, Inc., 1441 McCormick Dr, Suite 1050, Largo, MD, 20774-5323. CLS America Inc will provide Satellite Data Collection services to the Alaska Region of the National Park Service. Under authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii), the value of the contract is expected to be $48,000.00. The National Park Service (NPS), Alaska Regional Office has deployed GPS-satellite telemetry collars to assist with the monitoring of important wildlife species. The collars utilize ARGOS-owned satellites as the only source of data acquisition and relay. CLS America is the sole licensee that collects and distributes ARGOS system data. The NPS has in place a system for researchers to receive and record data and compatibility is important for the integrity of the data. This Notice of Intent is not a request for Expressions of Interest (EOIs), proposals or quotations. No solicitation document exists and no telephone inquiries will be accepted. No contract award will be made on the basis of EOIs, proposals or quotations received in response to this notice. This supply will be procured under Firm Fixed Price Supply in accordance with FAR 12 procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized under FAR 6.302-1.
