- The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) intends to award a single-source contract to National Graphic Supply Corp, Upland, CA for the procurement of the following: 100 Rolls of RLD-7 image setting film, rolls 48" x 121' Part # NAT-RLD7-4821240 Fuji Chempact Rapid Acess Scanner developer/replenisher, 3X5.06 Lb, Part # FUH-812942 This single-source acquisition is necessary in order to support the need of the National Aeronautical Charting Organization (NACO) of the FAA located in Glenn Dale, MD. This procurement is considered to be single-source based on the requirement of the film product becoming obsolete and National Graphic Supply Corp is the only known contractor capable to meet the delivery schedule date of October 15th, 2009. The FAA intends to issue a follow-on contract in order to fulfill future requirements for RLD-7 film. All interested parties are encouraged to contact the Contract Specialist cited below should your company be able to fulfill future requirements for the material set forth above. Purpose of Announcement: In accordance with the FAA Acquisition Management System (AMS) Policy 3.2.2.4, the purpose of this announcement is to inform industry of the basis of the FAA's decision to contract with a selected source via single-source procedures as well as locate additional sources capable of fulfilling future requirements.
