Theequipment is designed to protect the aircrew member from toxic chemicalexposure to the head, neck, eyes, and respiratory tract. Theenvironment in which the item is required to operate will becontaminated with nerve and blister agent vapors and aerosols. Theaircraft mounting bracket (560-14000-4) will be permanently mounted tothe aircraft and provide for temporarily mounting the blower assembly.Requirement is for 91 EACH. 1 EACH FIRST ARTICLE. CONTRACTOR TESTINGWITH DATA IS REQUIRED: Test Procedures and Test/Inspection Report.First Article will become a part of the production units. ProductionQuantity 91 each. Also included are 2 Option Periods. Option I is validfor 730 days, 1-8 each; Option II is valid 1095 days, 1-8 each. Optionsmay include FMS and/or AF requirements. Materials: Blower, filter,quick release and battery.\parITEM 0002: Data Requirements. Technical Manual Contract Requirements(TMCR) and Engineering Change Proposals in support of Filter Unit,Gas-Particulate, NSN 4240-01-343-3443MH.\parDELIVERY \endash ITEM 0001: Place of delivery for First Article:FE6511, one (1) each; Place of delivery for Production Quantity: FE5260,three (3) each; FE2037, two (2) each; FE2500, eight (8) each; FE4809,two (2) each; FE6511, fourteen (14) each; DPL00X, sixty-two (62) eachFMS. First Article is due 30 days ARO Approval of Test InspectionReport; Test Procedures/Plan is due 60 days ARO contract;Test/Inspection Report is due 210 days ARO contract; Productionquantities are due 180 days ARO Approval of Test Inspection Report.Delivery of options is 180 days after exercise of option. Location tobe determined. \parDELIVERY-ITEM 0002: Place of delivery for Technical Manual ContractRequirements is IAW DD Form 1423-1, which will be available online whenRFP is posted.
