- Salient Physical Characteristics This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial service prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation, F1HTEA9168A001, is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-16. This procurement is a 100% Small Business set-aside IAW FAR 19.502-2 (a). The NAICS code is 334220 and the small business size standard is 750 employees. The following commercial service is requested in this solicitation; 0001- wideband gapfiller sat simulator. This is a sat simulator to allow for training of new airmen in the shop on proper procedures and techniques. Qty: 1 ea. Services to be performed at BEALE AFB, CA 95903. The following provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition: The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items. Quotes will be evaluated and awarded to the offeror with the lowest price and the technical capability of the service offered to meet the Government requirement. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items, FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items, FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, FAR 52.214-31, Facsimile Bids, FAR 52.219-1, Small Business Program Representations FAR 52.252-1, Solicitations Provisions Incorporated by reference, FAR 52.252-5, Authorized Deviations in Provisions. Specifically, the following clauses cited are applicable to this solicitation: The clause at FAR 52.217-8, Option to Extend Services (NOV 1999), FAR 52.217-9, Option to Extend the Term of the Contract (MAR 2000), FAR 52.224-1, Privacy Act Notification and FAR 52.224-2, Privacy Act; FAR 52.232-33, Payment by Electronic Funds-Central Contractor Registration. The clause at DFARS 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration; DFARS 252.212-7001, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders; The Government reserves the right to award on a multiple award or an all or none basis.
