- RECOVERY--The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers intends to issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) for Lake Marion Regional Water System Project, Holly Hill Reach Water Transmission Main Phase 1, Town of Holly Hill, and Town of Santee and area within Orangeburg County, South Carolina. This will be a 100% HUBZONE Set-Aside IAW FAR 19.1305(a). The project consists of furnishing, installing, and placing into successful operation approximately 37,990 linear feet of 30-inch diameter water transmission mains from the Town of Santee to Wells Crossroads (intersection of US Hwy 15 & US Hwy 176). This contract includes all valves, appurtenances, roadway bores, horizontally directionally drilled pipe, testing, quality control, safety and all other related work to place this pipeline into successful operation. MAGNITUDE OF WORK $5,000,000.00 TO $10,000,000.00. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 237110 with a Small Business Size Standard of $33,500,000.00. The solicitation and any subsequent amendments will only be available in electronic format, downloadable from the internet. No CD-ROMs or hardcopy documents will be distributed. Offerors must register in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at www.ccr.gov in order to view or download the solicitation documents. Solicitation documents, plans, and specifications will only be available at https://www.fbo.gov It is the responsibility of the bidders to monitor the website for notices and amendments. The solicitation will be posted on or about 8 July 2009 with proposals due on or about 9 Aug 2009.
