- RECOVERY--RECOVERY The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia District, intends to award on a Sole Source basis to Silver Ships, 9243 Bellingrath Road, Theodore, AL 36582 for the procurement of various open market items to be used on a self-propelled crewboat for the Kansas City District. The vessel is currently being procured separately on a sole source basis under Request for Quotation (RFQ) No. W912BU-09-T-0054 under Silver Ships GSA Schedule using Recovery Funds. To ensure that these open market items are properly implemented to improve the vessels ability to perform its intended mission, it is imperative that these changes are designed and integrated into the crewboat during initial construction. This notice of intent is NOT a Request for Competitive Proposals. No contract award will be made on the bases of this notice. This notice does not constitute a solicitation document and request for such documents will not be considered. However, all information received within three (3) calendar days after date of publication of this notice will be considered SOLELY for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not pay for information received. The NAICS code is 336612 with a Size Standard of 500 employees.
