- PRESOLICITATION NOTICE. THIS PROJECT IS SET-ASIDE FOR CERTIFIED HUBZONE CONCERNS. IFB AND BIDDING DOCUMENTS WILL BE ISSUED ON OR ABOUT AUGUST 6, 2009. BID OPENING DATE IS SEPTEMBER 9, 2009. The estimated value of this procurement is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. The applicable North American Industry Class System (NAICS) code is 236220. The small business size standard is a three-year averaged annual gross receipt of $33.5 million. Bid, payment and performance bonds are required. The performance period is 180 calendar days. The solicitation in its entirety and any amendments will be available at no charge online at http://www.fbo.gov under the above solicitation number. This project is to provide all labor, tools, materials, equipment and transportation to construct a new two-story Aid To Navigation Building with open and enclosed shop areas on the first floor, office spaces and locker rooms with showers on the second floor. The building will be raised approx. 24 inches above the existing site using a concrete pile foundation system; also included is electrical, fire alarm, mechanical, central air conditioning system, plumbing and compressed air system, to be located at the U.S. Coast Guard, Venice, Louisiana 70091-0707, Plaquemines County, LA. The performance period is 180 calendar days.
