- RECOVERY. THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. This project is funded through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. A firm fixed priced task order has been issued to Toland & Mizell Architects, Inc. of Atlanta, Georgia, under contract AG-3K15-C-06-0003 for architectural and engineering (A-E) services. The task order is for architect-engineering services necessary for the design of Replacement of critical mechanical and electrical systems in the Main Laboratory building at the Southeast Poultry Research Laboratory in Athens, Georgia. This task order was awarded against an existing indefinite quantity contract for A-E Services. The contract was competed in accordance with the Brooks Act and FAR 36.6 Architectural and Engineering (A-E) services. The selection of Toland & Mizell Architects, Inc. was based upon criteria which included the following: overall technical expertise, specialized technical knowledge, specialized knowledge of the location where the work will be performed, and an internal analysis of costs.
