- Description
- The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is planning to award a contract to support the Department of Transportation/Federal Aviation Administration National Airspace System (NAS) Aeronautical Information Management Enterprise Systems II (NAIMES II) program. NAIMES II consists of a suite of NAS safety/mission critical systems and services that directly support the collection, validation, management, and dissemination of aeronautical information in the NAS. The FAA anticipates awarding a Cost-Plus-Fixed Fee contract for one base year, with four one year options. The award will be made under open competition. There are no restrictions, all interested parities are invited to submit proposals. Interested parties must submit their responses to this SIR no later than September 2, 2009, 3:30 pm eastern standard time, either electronically or via hard copy to the following address: Federal Aviation Administration, Headquarters, 800 Independence Avenue, SW, Washington, DC 20591, Rm. 408, ATTN: Ms. Elisa Brown, Contracting Officer, AJA-48 or Elisa.Brown@faa.gov. All interest parties are advised that the FAA will not pay for any information or costs incurred which are associated with any response from this Screening Information Request (SIR). Therefore, any cost associated with SIR submissions will be solely at the interested party's expense.
