- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items/services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Firm-fixed price award is anticipated. Note: Any prospective contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to be eligible for award. Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number from Dun and Bradstreet. Registration may take up to three weeks to process. On the 10th and 11th of October, 2009, McEntire Joint National Guard Base and the 169th Fighter Wing are hosting the 2009 "Go Guard!" South Carolina Air and Ground Expo. This event marks the first officially sanctioned Airshow and Open House event at McEntire in 10 years. There are 2 days of amazing aerial and ground displays as well as daring aerial performances designed to share the mission of the Air and Army National Guard with the public of South Carolina. Attendance is expected to exceed 100,000 people for this free general-admission event. In support of this public event, the 169th Fighter Wing is soliciting bids to provide sanitation services in the form of port-o-lets and portable hand-wash stations for use of the general public. The number and servicing of these facilities will be sufficient for an estimated daily attendance of 50,000 people on Saturday, 10 October and Sunday, 11 October, 2009. Contractor's proposed number of units must be supported by justification based on similar events or US government requirements listings. Servicing of port-o-lets must be accomplished after 7 pm on these dates. The set up of port-o-lets must be accomplished starting no later than 5 October, completing no later than 8 October. Port-o-let removal post-event must be accomplished no later than 13 October. This contract is for payment via appropriated funds for a USAF-sanctioned Open House event.
