- Description
- The work for this project consists of a base bid for dredging shoaled areas in Cuts S-19 and S-20 in the GIWW and in Cut 4 of Venice Inlet. The required dredging depth is 9 feet MLLW. The allowable overdepth is 2 feet. The estimated quantity of dredged material is approximately 25,000 cubic yards of material. All dredged material is anticipated to be beach quality material and shall be placed unto the designated beach disposal area; placement will begin south of the jetty at R-monument 116 and continue south to R-119. Magnitude of construction is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. This solicitation will be issued on or about 28 August 2009 and bid opening will be on or about 13 October 2009. THIS PROCUREMENT IS A HUBZONE SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. Solicitation will be issued in electronic format only and will be posted on the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) website at https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/.
