- This opportunity was available only to Management Training Corporation under contract number DOLJ07SA00002. The Office of the Assistant Secretary for Administration and Management on behalf of the Office of Job Corps intended to award a contract modification in the amount of $555,000 to the Sierra Nevada Job Corps Center operated by Management Training Corporation. These funds are provided under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA). The funding is intended to repair heating terminal units. The operator of the Sierra Nevada Job Corps Center will procure the services of local providers by making these funds available through subcontracting opportunities following all applicable FAR procurement regulations. The funding is within the not-to-exceed ceiling for Construction/Rehab on this contract. It would be impracticable to use a fixed price contract to secure services of the kind or quality required for this modification since the modification is to an existing cost plus incentive fee contract (cost-reimbursement contract).
