- RECOVERY--THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER W9124A-09-B-0006. Recovery Repair Sewer Line From MH 8-70 to 7-125 The Information Technology, E-Commerce, and Commercial Contracting Center, Directorate of Contracting, Operations Branch, Fort Huachuca, Arizona will issue a solicitation for the procurement to Repair Sewer Line From MH 8-70 to 7-125 at Fort Huachuca, AZ. This procurement, which will be completed utilizing sealed bid procedures, is described as follows: the contractor shall provide all materials, labor, and equipment to complete Repair Sewer Line From MH 8-70 to 7-125. Repair damaged portion of sewer main between manholes 8-70 and 7-125 (Hatfield Road). Provide as-built drawings, mapping and profile view of the repaired sewer main. Project includes surveying, excavation and grading, underground pipe placement and testing. Provide gravity sewer mains in accordance with UPC. Trenching shall be in accordance with the drawings and pipe depths shall be measured from final grade. Sewer lines shall be referenced to the center lines of the streets, or existing fence lines. All testing shall be made in the presence of the Government Representative. Work will be performed on Fort Huachuca, AZ. This is a 100% HubZone Set Aside acquisition with a completion schedule of45 calendar days after award. The total value of the project is between $25,000 and $100,000. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 237110 - Water and Sewer Line and Related Structures Construction. Award will be made to the offeror whose bid, responsive and conforming to the Invitation for Bid (IFB), is determined to be most advantageous to the Government in terms of price, past performance, and other related factors. The Government intends to award without discussions, therefore, the offerors initial proposal shall contain its best terms. Upon conclusion of evaluations, the name of the apparent successful offeror will be provided to the Small Business Administration (SBA), Phoenix office, for an eligibility determination. The Government reserves the right to contact the SBA at anytime during the evaluation process to determine the eligibility of an offeror. Upon release to the public on or about 06 August 2009, the solicitation W9124A-09-B-0006 will be available via the Internet at the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI, https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi) to Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps, http://fedbizopps.gov/). Offerors are responsible for checking the websites for any possible solicitation amendments that may be issued. Proposal due date and time will be included in the solicitation.
