- This information is provided for information purposes only. Recovery - The National Institutes of Health, Office of Logistics and Acquisition has a requirement to purchase an Active Noise Control Headset for MRI communication, Part Number 800R0001. The following minimum features are required: 1. Slim MRI compatible headphones 2. Two optical earpieces integrated into superaural ear cups 3. Four optical microphones integrated: one at each ear cup (omni directional) used as a reference transducer for the system, two microphones as part of the microphone for speech. 4. Hardware and software for the Active Noise Canceller 5. Hardware and Software for the FOMRI-III system 6. Hardware and software for the synchronization of any auditory stimuli - either for headphones and microphones with up to 3 TTL signals.
