- SOLICITATION NO. 301819B140 PROJECT TITLE: Headquarters Energy Retrofit/Remodeling/Site Work at Morris, MN PROJECT LOCATION: U.S. Fish & Wildlife ServiceMorris Wetland Management District Morris, Minnesota PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The project consists of providing superintendence, labor, materials, equipment and installation in a major renovation of an existing approximately 8,700 square feet headquarters/office/visitor center building. Construction items shall include but not be limited to installation of: a closed ground loop geothermal HP HVAC system, a grid tied solar voltaic array, reinsulation of the building to meet the ASHRAE Advanced Energy Design Guide, residing, repair of soffits, remodel bathroom and entire building to ADA standards, remodel deck, replace concrete sidewalks around front of building, install an elevator in an existing elevator shaft, replace water softening system and replace windows and doors. ESTIMATED MAGNITUDE: The magnitude of this requirement in terms of physical characteristics and estimated price range is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. SOCIOECONOMIC PROGRAMS: This procurement is issued unrestricted under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program, Public Law 100-656, and is NOT set-aside exclusively for small business concerns. For information purposes, the North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) is 238220, Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning Contractors, with a size standard of $14 million.
