- RFI, Request for Information. This is NOT a solicitation announcement. This is a sources sought synopsis only which may or may not lead to an award. The Directorate of Contracting, Fort Carson, CO (ACA-NR) is seeking business sources (NAICS Code 332311/500) who can provide the requested certified repairs for the following items identified in the Statement of Work: STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW) --- ISU 60/90 REPAIRS 1. Repair Dates: ISU repairs must be completed and returned to unit NLT 15 September 2009 2. Number of ISU 60/90s to be repaired: ISU 90s: 5 EA ISU 60s: 2 EA 3. Vendor Responsibilities: Vendor shall pick up and ship ISU 90 and ISU 60s to there facility, repair, and return to Fort Carson, Colorado 80913 a total of 5 ISU 90 and 2 ISU 60s. The vendor will repairs shall ensure airlift capability without any faults that would preclude them from shipping via aircraft for future operations. 4. ISU repair breakdown: ISU 90 #1: Door seal repair on two doors, Replace Bottom and Reskin ISU 90 #2: Replace Bottom and Reskin ISU 90 #3: Replace Bottom and Reskin, Replace ISU locking bars ISU 90 #4: Door seal repair on two doors, Repair Bottom and Reskin, Replace ISU locking bars, Replace ISU step ISU 90 #5: Replace Bottom and Reskin, Replace ISU locking bars, Replace ISU step ISU 60 #1: Repair hole 3 in diameter, Replace Bottom and Reskin ISU 60 #2: Replace Bottom and Reskin 5. Mission. The primary objective of these repairs is to maintain combat readiness and be able to deploy within any theater of operation. 6. Concept of the Operation. General. Vendor shall repair all ISU 60/90s in accordance with Air Force Manual 24-204(I). Once repairs are completed the vendor must agree that all work is guaranteed for one year after completion of work performed. 7. Unit Responsibility: Once work has been completed and returned to Fort Carson, CO 80913 the Government will ensure that all work has been completed as per Air Force Manual 24-204(I). Any discrepancies will be itemized and notified to the vendor so the item can be repaired properly in accordance with statement of work. 8. Vendor qualifications: Vendor must be certified to repair ISU 60s and ISU 90s and must be able to ship containers from Fort Carson, Colorado to facility and vendor must possess all tools necessary to perform repairs.
