- Description
- HSCG87-09-B-643125 – Port Graham Day Beacon 3 Replacement, at Cook Inlet, Homer, Alaska Area. The project is located at the Port Graham Harbor entrance, approximately 12 nautical miles Southwest of Homer, Alaska. The project will include the demolition and removal of existing 3-leg tower structure and the installation of a new drilled single pile structure and government furnished ladder and platform assemblies in the same location. The contractor shall provide a new pile. The Coast Guard will provide the remainder of the required materials to complete the new assembly.. The estimated start work date is mid to late September 2009, with a required completion date of November 15, 2009. The estimated cost range is between $100,000 and $250,000. See the solicitation for bonding requirements. This procurement is issued as a 100% small business set-aside. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code is 237990 and the applicable size standard is $33.5 million dollars in annual receipts for the past three years. All responsible small businesses may submit a bid. This solicitation will not be issued in paper form. Solicitation documents may be accessed for download from the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website beginning on the date of issue (estimated to be on or about 7 August 2009) at the following site: http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Any amendments issued to the solicitation will be posted on this website. Prospective bidders are responsible for checking the website for amendments up to the date and time of bid opening. The technical data package (specifications and drawings) will only be available through a link in FedBizOpps. Firms must be currently registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database and FedBizOpps to be able to access the technical data package. A planholders list will not be available for this project from CEU-Juneau.
